My KitchenAid Stand Alone Mixer Obsession
I’ll admit it. I’m completely obsessed with having a KitchenAid stand alone mixer. There is something about it that holds a certain mystique for me. I do love cooking, but I’ve never gotten into baking. Truthfully, I don’t even know if it would even get much use. I just need one in my very soul. There is something so glamorous about those mixers to me. Not just glamorous: sexy. That’s it! They’re sexy. It conjures up the same image for me as a pair of stiletto heels, a glass of red wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and a fresh salad with strips of medium sirloin and balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top. Yum. It represents decadence to me. It represents the woman that I want to be. I know that’s quite a tall order for a simple kitchen appliance, but it’s the truth.
It comes in every color that you can imagine, but my favorite is from the new Metallic series. It’s called Satin Copper. Now that’s sexy!
