Will someone buy this please???!/1950s gold daybed
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009I LOVE this. I just found it. I’m suffering from a crazy sleep schedule and doing a little insomnia-induced window shopping on Craigslist. You can find such amazing things on Craigslist if you’re patient. For the new apartment I’m looking to get rid of my huge couch (don’t worry it’s definitely seen better days) and get a smaller sofa instead. A daybed would be perfect because then there would be room for family and friends if they came to stay with us. THIS IS PERFECT.

Oh my gosh I LOVE it! I love that it isn’t a traditional daybed, because let’s face it…most of them look like beds instead of couches. I love the shape. It’s very mid-century modern. It has clean lines, which I’ve been very attracted to lately. AND IT’S GOLD! It’s freaking fantastic. It’s so glamorous. Also, to me metallics (silver and gold) are neutrals and will go with anything.
Will someone buy this please and love it and cherish it as much as this design freak would? Better yet…someone buy this and give it to me! It’s only $100! Anyone? Anyone?
Ahhhhh well. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
